Play a part in The Lost
Colony by endowing one of the seats in historic
Waterside Theatre.
On
July 4, 1937, The Lost Colony symphonic drama
opened to a “Standing Room Only” audience of
over 2,000 guests. Few in Waterside Theatre on
that day could have guessed that Pulitzer
Prize-winning playwright Paul Green’s “pageant,”
produced on a remote island off the Carolina
coast, would still be going strong more than
seventy years later.
Endowing a seat in this historic theater is a
thoughtful and distinctive way to honor a loved
one or to commemorate a special occasion for
years to come.
LEVELS OF SEAT ENDOWMENT
The Producer’s Circle – $1,000 each
General Admission – $500 each
Your seat endowment will help ensure the proud
tradition of The Lost Colony lives on for
decades to come and will at the same time create
an enduring remembrance for you and your loved
ones: an engraved plaque with a personalized
inscription will be affixed to the seat of your
choice. (Requests for specific numbered seats
will be honored on a first-come-first-served
basis.)
